Scholarships and Bursaries

Incoming students are welcome to apply for academic and specialist scholarships. The deadline for 2017 Scholarship entry at all entry points (11+, 13+ and 16+) is November 30 2016.

Applications for Academic, Music, Sport, Design Technology, Art or Drama Scholarships should be made on the appropriate form to the Registrar. Scholarships are awarded at 13+ and 16+ levels while awards at 11+ level are known as Exhibitions.

Scholarships for 2017 entry are now open, with a deadline of 30 November 2016. For further general information and an application form, please download our Scholarship 2017 brochure.

Bursaries are awarded according to parental income. To apply, parents must provide details of their income and commitments supported by documents of evidence which will be treated confidentially.

All bursaries are means-tested and are subject to funds being available. Bursaries may be awarded in the form of a discount of up to 100% on tuition and other fees. Bursaries are available for new applicants to Pangbourne, where a place has been offered but parents/guardians are unable to find the tuition fees and/or other costs in full or part, and to current pupils, where a change in parents’/guardians’ circumstances results in a difficulty meeting fees and may result in the child being withdrawn part of the way through their College education.

For further information, please see our Bursary Policy.
