Participating in a community event is one of the best ways to get involved with the Pangbourne community and Pangbournian Society. There are a number of events each year which are run either by the College or one of our volunteer groups. While new events may be added in any particular year, the calendar below gives you a broad overview of the types of events you can expect.
Please just email the Development Office if you would like more information on any of the events below.
|September||The first College Sunday of the academic year falls this month.|
|October||The PPA New Parents' Drinks is a great way to welcome new parents. The PPA Ball, a great night out for all parents, falls around now too. The OP Society AGM occurs at College, and all are welcome to the second College Sunday of the year. Finally, the College choir and Colour party perform at the Annual National Seafarers Service at St. Paul's Cathedral.|
|November||Remembrance Sunday is a moving and reflective day for the community. There is also a very popular POPs lunch immediately after the service.|
|December||The PPA Christmas Market is an excellent way to get your Christmas shopping started early. Celebrate the end of Michaelmas Term with the Dunbar and Senior Christmas Carol Services.|
|February||The major Drama production of the year performs over three nights in February just before half term.|
|March||There is normally a College Sunday in March, to which all members of the Pangbourne community are welcome. We also ask for the help of parent and OP volunteers to make our Sixth Form Careers Day a success.|
|April||The OP Society Annual Dinner normally falls around this month. Every other year it is held at the College.|
|May||May Revels is an informal and fun music concert, to which all members of the community are welcome.|
|June||Join us on the last Saturday of half term for what is becoming an annual tradition: the Pangbourne Classic Car Show.|
|July||Henley Royal Regatta, with an OP Drinks Party and other gatherings, is a great part of the social calendar. Founders' Day and the Leavers' Ball are suitable celebratory finales to a busy school year.|
|August||Have a well-earned rest and prepare for the next year!|
