NACE (National Association for Able Children in Education)

The NACE Challenge Award provides recognition of school-wide high-quality provision for more able learners within a context of challenge for all.

The National Association for Able Children in Education (NACE) has accredited Pangbourne College with the NACE Challenge Award in May 2023. Pangbourne College is one of only two independent secondary schools with a Sixth Form in England to have this award. The award is given in recognition of the College's commitment to high-quality provision for more able learners, within the context of challenge for all.

ISBA supports and advises the bursars and senior management staff of 1,100 independent schools across the UK and overseas

The Association of Governing Bodies of Independent Schools (AGBIS)

AGBIS supports and advises governing bodies of schools in the independent sector on all aspects of governance, under the umbrella of the Independent Schools Council. The objectives of the Association are the advancement of education in independent schools and the promotion of good governance in such schools.

Safeguarding and Child Protection Association (SACPA)

Sacpa is the voice of safeguarding, providing a channel to government and other key agencies. The association represents organisations, associations, agencies and individuals involved in safeguarding the welfare of children and adults at risk in the UK and overseas.

We are also an All Steinway School and a licensed provider of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards scheme.

Shortlisted in the 2023 AMCIS IMPACT Awards - Admissions IMPACT Award category for refining the Year 7 Admissions process and Small Budget IMPACT Award category for a successful Facebook Ads campaign. 
Shortlisted in the 2022 AMCIS IMPACT Awards - Small Budget IMPACT Award category for our Virtual Open Evening in February 2021. 
Independent Schools of the Year 2021 Finalist logoFinalist in the 'Co-educational school of the year' category in the Independent Schools of the Year 2021 Awards. This award recognises schools which can demonstrate how the collective pupil experience has been enriched to the benefit of them and the school.

BSA Awards Finalist for Most Original Activity During National Boarding WeekBSA Award Finalist 2020 for Most Original Activity During National Boarding Week - This award recognises how schools participated during the week by participating in BSA events from the week, or organising their own unique events.
BSA Covid CharterAll member schools which have adopted the BSA Covid-Safe Charter confirm that they will comply with all government rules and guidance and will meet the stipulated requirements when boarding reopens.
