Pangbourne College is celebrating its best-ever examination results, with 42% of grades at A*-A (up from 29% last year) and 90% at A*-C (up from 84%), alongside a 100% pass rate. Several subjects saw exceptional success, including Economics, French and Politics with over 60% A*-A, and Chemistry, Chinese, Further Maths, History and Music achieving 100% A*-B. Media BTEC and Sport Diploma BTEC both recorded 100% Distinction* or Distinction.

Head, Mr Oliver Knight praised the “relentless efforts” of students and staff, adding that the College’s academic rigour had “paid dividends.” A record number of students have secured first-choice university places at leading institutions including Durham, Exeter, Bristol, Bath, Manchester and King’s College London, studying subjects from Law and Computer Science to Design and International Relations.

Deputy Head Academic Mark Seccombe said the results reflected students’ “outstanding achievements” both academically and personally, highlighting Pangbourne’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals who will “make their mark in the world.”
