Thank you for taking the time to find out more about a career with us.
Pangbourne is a unique place to work – it has a tremendous community feel where staff feel supported and are very supportive of each other.
Working life at Pangbourne is busy and rewarding. Pangbourne is a small school which packs a lot into each day. The College aims to ensure that pupils have the opportunity to get the most out of its education experience which includes the academic life, co-curricular activities and boarding.
All staff play an integral part in making the Pangbourne experience work. Pupils value the commitment staff show to them, whether it’s as a Tutor, supporting UCAS applications, coaching a sport, coordinating meetings of the Debating Society or taking boarders on a weekend trip.
The College takes staff development seriously and has a very good track record of enabling its staff to gain promotion either within the College or at other schools, including headships.
Staff mix well socially and, at the end of the working day, there is the chance to work out in the strength and conditioning suite, take a dip in the swimming pool in the summer months or enjoy a drink in the Wardroom (staff dining room).
