Learning Support Teacher - Required for September 2026

Pangbourne College is looking to recruit a Learning Support Teacher to join our Learning Support Team.  The successful candidate should be an excellent communicator and capable of working alongside a professional team, with energy and enthusiasm.  They should be experienced in teaching pupils within the 11-18 age range, have excellent subject knowledge as well as a desire to work with a broad range of pupils with SEN.  Dyslexia Level 5 and Level 7 SpLD qualifications would be desirable.  We welcome applications from candidates in either the state or independent sectors and with any subject background.

Graduate Assistant (Sport/Boarding) - Required for the Summer Term/September 2026

Accommodation provided

We are looking to recruit a Graduate Assistant (Sport/Boarding)  to enhance pupils’ experiences in both sport and boarding at Pangbourne College. We welcome applications from recent graduates or those due to graduate by the end of the academic year as well as degree level students seeking a work placement. This role would suit someone who is looking for experience of working in a school with the possible aim of entering the teaching profession. 

The Graduate Assistant (Sport/Boarding) will be managed by the Director of Sport, but will support all of the PE department in running sport and PE.  Alongside this you will work with boarding staff to create an engaging evening program  for boarders.  This is a fantastic opportunity that demands high levels of self-motivation, enthusiasm, commitment and the ability to actively encourage pupils to partake in a wide range of activities.  

Single (shared) accommodation and all meals are provided free of charge during term time. You will be expected to be involved in activities outside of timetabled lessons and sports sessions plus play a full part in the busy life of our boarding school.
