Rowing Competition

Upper Sixth student Harrison (Boys' Captain of Boats) took part in the latest trials for the Great Britain Junior Rowing Team on Sunday 23 April. Racing in a pair with his partner from Bryanston School, they were invited to attend the National Junior Team Small Boats Regatta, held in Nottingham at the National Watersports Centre.

Following a good time trial, Harrison's pair finished sixth in their next race and then went on to win their final race, which placed them as the 15th fastest boat in the event. With over 30 crews racing, this was an excellent result for a pair that does not get to train together. The pair are now hopeful that this result will lead to an invitation to the final trials and crew formation camp ahead of the Summer international regattas in August.
