After a triumphant inaugural event last March, our College Wellbeing Day returned for the penultimate day of the Lent Term. At Pangbourne we strive to put wellbeing at the heart of everything that we do and we are thrilled that this enriching day has become a permanent event in the College calendar.

The day encompasses a range of specialist talks from guest speakers and varied staff-led workshops. Wellbeing Day is designed to allow pupils to experience an activity or learn a new skill related to enhancing their wellbeing and mental health. Each year group enjoyed the following specialist talks:

  • Years 7 - 9: 'Online Safety' with Amy Lockwood from Childnet
  • Year 10: 'Resilience and Kindness - What's It To Me?' with Ryan 'Mo' Morris MBE, Agile Edge Founder and Royal Marines Commando
  • Year 11: 'How to Cope with Exam Stress' with Joanna Feast, PSHCE and wellbeing consultant
  • Lower Sixth: 'Selfish, Selfless or Self-care?' with Ryan 'Mo' Morris MBE
  • Upper Sixth: 'Self-help Rules to Keep You Healthy' with Chris Singleton, founder of Transparency Theatre Company
