The last day of term was full of celebration!

Firstly, our fantastic catering team delivered a delicious Christmas lunch enjoyed by all staff and pupils. The menu included everything you could possibly imagine, such as pigs in blankets, turkey, brussel sprouts, mince pies, chocolate yule log and gingerbread men. A huge thank you to Thomas Franks for their hard work in bringing the festive meal together.

Straight after the meal, everyone made their way to chapel for some Christmas Congers. This was a great event which consisted of singing a series of Christmas classics including 'All I Want for Christmas is You' and of course the '12 Days of Christmas'. This certainly got everyone in the festive spirit!

Sporting success soon followed at the Div Ergo relay races. Hesperus claimed an impressive double victory, winning both the Junior and Senior relay events. This year also saw a new addition to the competition, with a staff team entering the senior race for the first time. The staff team performed brilliantly, finishing second overall behind Hesperus and adding to the excitement of the day.

We are incredibly proud of our Sixth Form boys for shaving their heads to raise money for the Oddballs Foundation, a charity that raises awareness of testicular cancer, the most common cancer in young men. The boys have already raised over £1,000 for the cause, a remarkable achievement that will make a huge difference.

With 2025 coming to an end we can reflect on the amazing moments throughout the year, however, we cannot wait to get stuck into all the fun events that are to come in 2026!

We are wishing everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!
