Fees, Scholarships and Bursaries
Registered students are welcome to apply for academic and specialist scholarships in the academic year before they enroll at Pangbourne College.
The deadline for 2021 Sports Scholarship entry at all points (11+, 13+, 16+) and any other 16+ Scholarships will be 31 October 2020. The deadline for all other scholarship entries at 11+ or 13+ will be 30 November 2020.
Families should complete the admissions process for their entry point before applying for a scholarship or exhibition. Applications for Academic, Music, Sport, Design Technology, Art or Drama scholarships should be made on the appropriate form to the Head of Admissions. Scholarships are awarded at 13+ and 16+ levels, whilst awards at 11+ level are known as Exhibitions.
If your child is already a pupil at Pangbourne, there is a separate process for internal scholarships. Please check with your Head of Section or the Head of Admissions first.
Bursaries are awarded on the basis of financial needs of the family. To apply for a bursary, parents should first complete the College admissions process for their entry point. Subsequently, parents are required to complete a separate Bursary Application Form. The form is designed to provide a picture of the income and expenditure, and assets and liabilities of applicants.
This information, together with other factors, which may support the application, will then be expanded during a home visit from the independent Bursary Administration Company.
Fee levels for the academic year 2020-21 are being frozen at 2019-20 levels.
