CCF Competition

On the second weekend of October, nine of our senior Royal Marine cadets went to the Annual National Inter-School Sir Steuart Pringle Trophy competition at the Commando Training Centre, Lympstone. In glorious sunny weather, the cadets were tested in a range of leadership challenges, military skills, and physical activities against schools from all over the UK.

This year's team, led by #PangCollLower6th pupil Martha (St George), managed to accomplish some very good results in some of the activities, the best of which being third place on the assault course. This involved teamwork and physical endurance.

Mr Craig Wiles, Contingent Commander of the CCF, said, ‘Well done to all involved, in particular our senior cadets who are developing as leaders through their involvement in cadet activities. The CCF aims to teach our young people responsibility and commitment through leadership and development. These values were evident in all of those involved at the competition weekend.’
